We specialize in the Miva Merchant E-Commerce system, a browser-storefront development and management system. The Merchant software offers the following features:

New accounts are always hosted on the latest versions of Miva Merchant and the Miva Merchant Empresa engine that runs it. Existing sites that move to us will transfer to us as their current version, upgrade files for newer versions are available at your request. (Note: Major version upgrades, such as from v4.x to v5.x, for existing stores may require upgrade licenses for third-party modules. Stores that own their Merchant license and are not leasing one though a hosting plan may require an upgrade license key from Miva Merchant.)

There are two license options, both give you the ability to fully control your Merchant mall, including modules, payment gateways, etc.

• Private Mall (Leased) This full Merchant license (which is yours to use while hosting with us) gives you a Miva Merchant mall hosted on your own domain. This license key is non-transferable and remains the property of Hostasaurus should you choose to transfer your site to a different provider. This means the host you are moving to would also have to offer a leased license plan, or you would have to purchase your own full license.
• Private Mall (Owned) This full Merchant license (which is yours to keep) gives you a Miva Merchant mall hosted on your own domain and the ability to transfer your license at any time. The functionality is identical to the leased license.
